About Wilmot Marine Services

WMS provides sales and new project development services to some of the most well known international shipyards.

For more than 35 years, we have represented key shipyards for the new build, conversion and refitting of merchant vessels, specialist offshore vessels, cruise ships and superyachts. Over the years, we have specifically aimed to represent shipyards offering real advantages to our ship owning and ship managing customer base.

Our shipyard principals offer strategic locations, world class experience, as well as some of the safest shipyard working environments. They continually develop and implement initiatives to ensure the ongoing improvement in standards of personal safety, environmental care and work quality; thus leading to tangible benefits for the customer.

We appreciate the need for effective local shipyard support and hence, the majority of our work is from a regular and broad customer base. However, we take great pleasure in demonstrating to new customers the level of service and expertise that ensures our principals remain market leaders.

With offices in London, Aberdeen and Southampton, we are truly your local contact for a unique network of shipyards, for whatever assistance you may need.

Bruce subsequently served with BT Marine on cable laying ships before moving to Germany to work in the Hapag Lloyd Shipyard, which undertook some of the major cruise ship conversion projects of that era. Thereafter, Bruce moved back to the UK where he joined his father in his newly created shipyard agency that, 35 years later, continues to represent some of the world’s leading shipyard facilities.
